About Our Aviation Art

Our aviation art prints are created by Dave “Superdave” Evans, a retired U.S. Air Force F-15E Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) and graduate of the USAF Weapons School.

Each piece begins with a real aviation photograph—either an image taken by Superdave during his Air Force career or one captured by a USAF Combat Camera photographer, often during one of his operational deployments. These photographs provide the inspiration and foundation for the finished artwork, which is developed using a combination of digital graphics, artistic editing, and AI-assisted creative tools.

The result is aviation art created from the perspective of someone who spent a career flying the aircraft, working alongside the people, and experiencing many of the environments depicted in the artwork.

Each finished piece is produced on gallery-grade 220 gsm smooth, acid-free paper using Giclée-quality printing and REACH-certified inks for rich, vivid and lasting color. The smooth matte finish minimizes glare while preserving the fine details of the aircraft and artwork.
